Problem with N95's screen

When my N95 is turned on, startup sounds can be heard and pressing keys will cause the normal keypad tones. The screen however remains black and will occasionally flash static. I have tried resetting and this has not worked. Any ideas?

Hello, when a phone does not display on the screen and you can here start up tone, it means that either the screen or the flex that is connected to screen board is faulty.Needs to be replaced.

You have to test for both the screen and the flex.must be one.You can tak it to any nearby repair store around you for assistance.

On the phones sides there are two buttons. Press the lower button severally and the tone reduction will be displayed on the screen. Alternatively, go to settings, then select sound profiles then select normal then option, edit then scroll to keypad tone then mute.

Switch-off your phone. 1. Press and hold 3 keys; Green dial key, * Star key, no. 3 key on keypad and then press the power on/off to swtich on the phone. Remember, do not let go the 3 press and hold keys until you see a formatting word screen show! 2. After a few minutes when the Full phone formatting completed, your phone will back to original system and factory settting.

How do i turn the keypad sound of on samsung tocco
Go to settings,
select phone settings,
volume key function,
select silence
then save

Now you can turn the volume of your keys up and down with the button on the side of your phone

Turn off key pad tone
In the main screen, press the volume button on the side. It will open up the volume control on the screen. Set it to zero and thats it. It will turn off the keypad tone.

D900 FAQ – How do I disable or mute the keypad tone on my SGH-D900? admin ⋅ March 6, 2009 --> Note: In order to disable the keypad tone, the Dialing Display Font Type must first be set to “Normal”
To change the dialing display font type follow the steps below:
  1. From the standby screen, press the left soft key for Menu
  2. Select Settings (9)
  3. Select Display Settings (3)
  4. Select Dialing Display (6)
  5. Select Font Type (1)
  6. Highlight either Normal or Theme, using the navigation keys
  7. Press the left soft key to Save the Dialing Display Font Type setting
To turn off the keypad tone follow the steps below:
  1. From the standby screen, press the left soft key for Menu
  2. Select Settings (9)
  3. Select Sound Settings (4)
  4. Select Keypad Tone (2)
  5. Highlight Off, using the up navigation key

I have a Samsung U900 and cannot turn off the key sounds without
to solve this at the main screen press volume down and u will get a pop up saying key tone volume keep pressing unil it reaches 0 and there will be no key pad sound but music etc will still work fine

hi to all u wot r having the same problem i email nokia last night they got bk to me with this messege and it workis so do this

• Turn the phone off.
• Remove the battery, SIM card and memory card for at least 15 minutes.
• Reassemble and turn the phone on.
