How do I get rid of this one vertical white line on my toshiba TDP-S8

I had a projector toshiba TDP-S8 but it is used when i turned it on it required a password what can I do

Toshiba's s8. The product retailed for close to two thousand dollars. Due to problems production was discontinued. If it works for you then you got a good deal. Replacement parts are easily available on ebay.com for reasonable prices.

Toshiba TDP-S8 projector cannot communicate from my laptop, it shows no signal. how can i fix it? thank you so much...

after installing the new lamp, hold the volume top & bottom key simulteniously, when green light indicate at panel start the projector & go to service there you may found reset lamp ? press yes the lamp will reset.

it needs a good service .all that needs to be done is open the top cover, the main board , clean all the dust possible.there is a glass dlp , clean it with a soft cloth ( like the one used to clean specks).on refiiting the main board make sure to firmly press the 100 pin black connector on the dlp board engine.this is the cause of the vertical flashy line
once repacked start the unit.it should work fine!!!!

Two reset attempts to factory settings seems to have been the fix.

please start your computer first and then the projector- use function key with f4 or f6 or f7 or f5-and select computer from input of the projector.

The reason why the projector is shutting off is so the lamp doesn't explode. It's more of a safety feature on the projector, you can reset the lamp and it might work for another 500hours. If the picture is still pretty bright I can get you the reset procedure, but be warn that when the lamp does eventually blow it could shatter the glass inside, so be careful, it shouldn't hurt the unit.
