Frigidaire Laundry Center (FGX831CS1) overflowing.

I have a Frigidaire Laundry Center (FGX831CS1). It is overflowing with water. It will not stop filling with water and/or move to the next cycle. What is wrong and how do I fix it?

There are a few issues that could cause the overfilling...failed water inlet valve, failed water level pressure switch, hole in pressure system air hose or air hose disconnection to name a few. Need to have professional evaluate, or it could happen again. Call home insurance if there are water damages to file a claim, and they can handle it from there usually.

Why is water leaking from bottom of double stack fridgidaire washer/dryer combo?

Thank you for your post, friend!

From the information you have provided your Frigidaire laundry center is leaking water from the bottom after a day or so. It sounds like you have a slow leak and this could be in your drain line, drain pump, or gasket. I would advise you to review your gasket and drain hose to make sure there is no visible crack or wear that water could be leaking out of. If you do not see any apparent leaks it could be an issue internally and this is not a simply DIY job. You may need to request the assistance of a professional technician for proper disassembly of your laundry center. I hope this information has been helpful. -Matt

My Frigidaire stackable laundry center will not fill with water?

Hi Keith Knapp, I appreciate your inquiry!
I understand that your Frigidaire laundry center is not filling with water. It sounds like you could be having a problem within water valve, control board, or door switch. I would recommend having a technician out to your home to properly diagnose and repair your appliance. Hopefully this is helpful. -Matt

Frigidaire gallery series washer dryer stackable unit will not fill all the way

Hi Friend, this is Z. Thank you for your inquiry!

I understand that your Frigidaire laundry center will not completely fill. Here are a few troubleshooting tips that may help you get to the root cause:

First, disconnect power from your washer. It is good to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn on your laundry center? Did the issue persist? If so, a service technician may need to check the pressure sensor or switch to determine if it needs replacement.

If your water flow is abnormal, double-check water faucets to ensure they are in the "on" position. If on, your incoming water pressure may be above 30 PSI and could need adjusting. Check for any kinked or blocked water hoses or clogged water screens. If you've cleared the water screen and/or unblocked any kinked water hoses, and the problem still persists, it could possibly be a water inlet valve assembly.

If you have checked all of the above, your laundry center may need a main control board replacement. I would recommend contacting a qualified service technician to further assist you in diagnosing this issue.

Frigidaire fgx831cs1 It won't fill up with water. Suddenly stopped filling up. Been working perfectly. Goes straight to wash cycle. Most likely problem?

Hi Friend, this is Z. I am happy to assist you!

Based on the symptoms you are describing, it sounds like your Frigidaire laundry center (FEX831CS) believes that the tub is already filled. Let's attempt resetting your laundry center. This can be done by either unplugging it or flipping the household for about 10 minutes. If the issue continues, I would recommend reaching out to a qualified technician for a clear-cut diagnosis on the pressure switch.

Water was overflowing over the top and flooding the laundry room

If it was left in the reset position then it could absolutely pushed the diaphragm in the air switch to a point that the contactor couldn't reach it. Set it on a large load, let it fill and watch it. If it starts to overflow, pull the plug out, if it continues filling, you need a new water valve on the washing machine and if it stops then you need a new level switch
