What operating system? If it is windows, download the latest driver. The try going into Device manager, delete the touch pad. Install the latest driver and redetect the touch pad.

have the avh 5700 should be close to the same unit. try holding the two center buttons on deck [boost and arrow button] i think then without releasing them push the reset button with a pen ,the screen will close then reopen now let go of buttons should be in the right menu on the first item dont trace the extreme edge come in a little then the second item on the menu screen is the touch section just touch the little plus button on screen if still off try tracing first screen little further from edge. this should fix problem

Did you find a solution to this problem? I have just bought an I-Mate PDA2 and within 4 days the touch screen has stopped responding, but like your, the scroll wheel and buttons still work. I have tried the full reset and now I am left stuck on the initial set up screen. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

When I hit the center some part above gets highlighted and selected and the botton part where the taskmanager and battery icons are present does not respond to my taps ... what could be the problem,,, kindly help me solve the issue.
