Hi,
This sounds like an inshop repair.
The technical term for the changer being set to 88.5 but works in 97.5 is "frequency drift" and could be rectified with the use of a calibrating instrument/frequency counter and an alignment tool assuming no component replacement required. Frequency drift can be caused by component failure, humidity, temperature etc.;
The part "my car off the changer stays on" could be faulty trigger on inside the changer, faulty remote trigger on in your head/radio/controller unit.
Good luck and hope this gives you a few ideas. Kind regards.

2633 charge air system offset drift.The drift is the temperature inthe charged air system and the offset is the computers inabilaty to control it.Check your air filter.If its restricted or mostly clogged can result in temp drifting out of control.2633 is very hard to clear.Youll have to do a filter initialization,MAF initialization and a dpf regen to clear the code.Until you clear the code your engine will stay in Limp Home Mode resulting in no power ,early shifts.
with most rc helicopters you have to disconnect the receiver unit from its battery and connect the charging lead to the battery lead the charger should have 2 leads 1 for the transmitter & 1 for the receiver
hope this helps
I think that the wire is for establishing communication between Mater and the remote. My son got one this year for Christmas and the batteries wore out quickly. I replaced the batteries in both, turned both off, hooked up the wire, then turned both on. When I disconnected the wire, it works again.
