Comment by onetoof, posted on Apr 01, 2008 Do you think using a voltage meter to test the incoming wires to the dispenser board might help narrow it down to which board is causing the problem?
On a scale from 1-10, how probable do you think the issue is with the dispenser board. Thanks, onetoof

Disp bd most common on ge check for a loose connection first now at one time ge was giving free disp bds but that may be over but still worth a call to ge technical

Make sure plug was replaced to right side! It is possible you broke a wire when You pulled it out!

Frigidaire frs6lf7fm. Ice maker dispenser, the auger won't turn (tested with ttay out). It makes ice and dumps it into the bin no problem. And the water side is fine.

The water line in your freezer door is frozen. Make sure the freezer setting isn't too high above midpoint. If you unplug the frig. and crack open the freezer door for a couple hours it will thaw out. Good job on posting description.

sounds like the board in the dispenser is bad and needs replacing now it could be a bad connection at the board

Water dispenser keeps running

Allen, one of two things here. The dispenser target switch has gone bad or the actuator arm is not releasing the switch. Remove the front cover by using a small screw driver to unlock the tabs at the bottom. Slide the panel down and out. Disconnect the wire harness. Remove the 4 phillip screws in the door dispenser housing. Slide the housing out and disconnect the target switch and light connectors. Now you can spread out the locking tabs and examine the switch. If this all checks good, then the board is the problem...Catriver...post back.
