I got the instructions from Yahoo directly after emailing back and forth several times. I was tired of not being able to provide solutions to people here who were complaining about the new version.
It took them almost a week to respond to my first email through the Yahoo site, they are overloaded with these complaints and it does take time to respond to them.
I have already sent you the instructions, if you haven't emailed Yahoo and followed them, I suggest that you do. The sooner you do, the sooner you can have your account restored to Yahoo Mail Classic.

Try this: remove your battery, unplug power, press and hold power button for at least 20 seconds, plug power cord back in but not the battery, press power and see if you get normal boot. If this is the case, your battery probably needs replaced.
