Contact name doesnot appear properly when a call comes on the phone

Try to save the numbers when the call comes to you phone and if this brings out the memorry then the saved memory must be stored with the Country and STD codes.
If not there are errors in the software and you can try and reset to default settings.

that means you have saved single contact 2 times check it out if problem persists format the phone

You have 2 identical numbers save from your phone book. check carefully each numbers you have just save, coz your phone cant show which name to appear every time you have a call. If the problem still persist check the phone contact, and check the settings. try to check if your using both phone memory and sim card memory at once. Just select only one if phone memory or sim card memory to use as phone book storage. thanks

you should set it from the phone book menu>settings or check if you have stored the name twice in your phone book.

You need the area code of the person's phone number saved with their contact information in your phonebook. So for example:
John Doe
555-664-5974

plz save include their number code..for an example, in india code is 91,therefore add 91 before that mobile number

This might be a possible solution....as I have had the same problem, with 2 phones...
Finally, I went to another cell phone rep - and we FIXED the problem!

My cell phone numbers in my phonebook are all saved with "1-area code-phone number" ie: 1-555-555-5555. The problem came from when people were calling me, locally, their number would come in as are code-phone number ie: 555-555-5555. The cell phone couldn't match the caller ID perfectly, so it would alternate between blank pictures, black pictures, wrong pictures.

Re-save your numbers, without the 1, and it should work fine - well, it did on my phone! :) Good luck!

this might be a network thing because that is the only way it works here in Australia.
All txt msgs are number only ID

i don't use 1-000-000-0000 and my caller id works fine with text and calls
