Whirlpool Quiet Partner I Dishwasher - Change Door Color

I just bought a new house that needs to have every kitchen appliance replaced other than the dishwasher. All the previous homeowner's appliances were white, but the new ones that I am buying will be black. My question is, since the dishwasher is relatively new and still in good shape, is there anything that I could do to change the exterior color of it from white to black? It doesn't appear to have a panel within a frame--the door appears to be one solid piece.

Any advice you could offer me would be greatly appreciated. At this point, I am spending money like there's no tomorrow (or no recession!), and I would like to save some of it wherever I can.

    I forgot to include the model number of this dishwasher. It's DU920PWKQ0.

    The door panel is not reversible on this dishwasher. It's one solid piece that wraps around the door.

    I have the same problem; my kitchenaid dishwasher is a little over a yr old and it is white. I am replacing the other appliances and want to go stainless steel. Is it possible to change the front of my dishwasher?

The door panels are reversible. Slide it out and turn the panels around. Bingo! Your done. It's that easy.

Hello there: It doesn't work at all If your dishwasher doesn't work at all, check these: Door switch Wiring Timer or selector switch Power from the house Is there power getting to the dishwasher? This can be difficult to test, because dishwashers are usually wired directly to an electrical circuit, rather than plugged into the wall. But at least check for a blown fuse or a tripped circuit breaker. Door switch

 The door switch is important because, if it's defective, the dishwasher won't work at all. To reach it, you need to remove the control panel cover, or sometimes the interior liner of the door. If it's defective, you need to completely replace it.

 Wiring Often the main wiring connection from the house, at the dishwasher, burns and breaks the connection. If that's the problem, the wires must be repaired/replaced as necessary. If that's not the problem, check the wiring to the door switch, the wiring between the door and the lower part of the dishwasher, and the wiring to the timer. Repair any broken, burned, brittle, or defective wiring, using the proper appliance-grade wire and connectors. Timer or selector switch Although it's uncommon, the timer or the selector switch may be defective. If so, you need to replace the defective part, because neither of these can be repaired.

Try turning the circuit breaker off for 30 minutes. Then turn back on and see. If it keeps locking you may need new control console. Hope this helps.
