Kenmore dryer 70 series

Check the vent for clogs and kinks. Could be something in the blower wheel causing the noise and blocking the vent.
Remove the vent from the back of the dryer, unplug the dryer, and reach inside the dryer vent to check for items lodged in the blower housing.

I have a kenmore 80 series dryer. 18 years old. Makes loud buzz when starting and overheats and stops in about ten minutes. I've bypassed thermal fuse and samething happens. I've also cleaned out...

You don't want to bypass the thermal-cutoff. If the thermostat is malfunctioning, it WILL overheat and cause a fire!! For the age of it, I would replace the whole dryer! It's going to cost you more in time than the value of the unit.

Maytag electric dryer model MDE6000AYW dryer is running but not getting hot and drying clothes plus making a dining noise every couple seconds while running

Dryer Does Not Run
Your Kenmore Oasis dryer may occasionally not operate as intended. When the dryer does not turn on, check that the power cord is plugged into a working electrical outlet. Check your fuse box to make sure a fuse hasn't blown or the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. Replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker as needed. Next, check that you have fully closed the dryer door; if not, the dryer will not run. Finally, make sure that you press and hold the "Start" button for at least five seconds.
Dryer Making Noise
Kenmore Oasis dryers will make noises that occur commonly with the running of the machine, including the motor and the sound of hot air blowing into the machine. Listen for uncommon noises with the running of the dryer, such as metallic clanking and excessive vibration. These noises indicate a problem with the machine.
If you hear metallic clanking, stop the dryer and check for any metal objects in the dryer drum. Often, change or other objects left in the pockets of clothing placed in the dryer will then fall out when the dryer starts spinning, creating the noise.
Excessive vibration often occurs when you have not properly leveled the dryer. To check whether the dryer is level, turn it off and try shake it frontward and backward, then left and right. If the dryer moves, adjust one or more of the legs needs to level the dryer: Determine which leg(s) you need to adjust and use a wrench to lengthen or shorten the legs. A level dryer will more quietly due to the elimination of vibrations.
Drying Time is Too Long
You may find that your laundry takes a long time to dry in the Kenmore Oasis dryer. This often occurs due to restricted the air flow within the machine. First, clear the lint filter. Clean it before every drying cycle to ensure proper air flow through the machine.
Next, run the dryer as usual and check the exhaust vent to ensure that airflows out of the vent. If you cannot feel air flowing through the vent, check it for blockage or damage. Clear any objects blocking the vent, or replace it if it has sustained damage.
The blockage may also occur in the exhaust hose attached to the back of the dryer. Unplug the dryer and remove the hose from the back of the machine. Clean out any lint or other obstruction and reattach the hose to clear the exhaust hose.

Sears Kenmore gas front loading dryer doesn't get very hot (need to run 2x to get clothes dry), room is very humid and hot while running dryer

check the following areas to address this issue further.

Make sure the dryer vent hose, as well as the rest of the vent duct, is not clogged.

Unless regular maintenance is performed, chances are there is a lot of lint accumulated inside the dryer. This might affect the drying time and could be a fire hazard. Make sure to have your dryer cleaned regularly. Because this might involve taking most of the dryer apart, it is recommended to have a qualified appliance repairman perform this task.

There are a couple of cycling thermostats inside the dryer. If one of them breaks down, it might affect the dryer's performance. Replace the defective thermostat.

Sounds like the motor may be getting hot and kicking out on the motor overload switch. When it cools down it will reset.

well it would help to know the brand but one thing to check is, turn timer on to timed cycle and open door, push door switch in and wait to see if heater comes on. If it does replace element. clean your vent and replace thermostat if element is ok.

Loud Squeaking Noise kenmore gas dryer 80 series

You need to change your drum rollers. To get to them you take the dryer apart from the front not the back. There are 2 screws where the filter goes in on top. Then pull the top toward you and up. Then remove the 2 - 5/16 inch screws on each side of the front panel about 2 to 3 inches down. Then pull the front up and out. Then you will see everything. Replace the belt, drum rollers, and idler making sure to oil each as you re-install them. Then put back together and your on your way.
