Full tank, very low flow/flame, how do I clean venturi, if this is the problem. Unable tp remove V-shaped tent over burners
I suspect that your problem is related to the grill's regulator. But, there is a solution. Turn the gas tank valve OFF and the burners to high for one minute, then turn them OFF. Also, disconnect the hose from the tank and wait 5 minutes, After 5 minutes, reconnect the hose to the tank and turn the tank valve ON VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow). Once the valve is fully open, turn ON and light the burner farthest from the tank, first. Has the flame height returned to normal? If so, light the remaining burners the same way. Now, do all the flame heights look normal? If so, you solved the problem.
If it didn't solve the problem, you will need to replace the grill's hose/regulator assembly. You can get one at any home center or hardware store that sells gas grills and accessories. Take your old one with you, for comparison purposes.
The V-shaped Tent (also called a Flame Tamer) should just lift up and out. According to your Owners Manual, they are not attached in any way, They just sit there, Once they are out of the way, you can access and remove the burners for cleaning. The Venturi is part of the burner, where it fits over the burner orifice. It will have a slotted opening. It mixes the gas to air, so that you get an even, clean burning flame. Spiders love to build nest in them. An old toothbrush works well in cleaning the Venturi's .
Hope all this info was of some help to you and will get you back grilling real soon. Please let me know. Thanks.
