Either your Y sustain board went out or your upper and lower Y buffer boards went out. Worst case scenario is your panel went out. But you won't know without replacing the other boards first.
it is going to be a failure of the Z sustain board if you can see dark video. you can either replace the Z sustain board or the IPM that is bad on the Z sustain. the board is about $175.00 or so part number is 6871QZH034 I THINK.
Contact your LG dealer to arrange a service call & have the software version updated, an older software may be present in the TV which can give a white screen start up problem
This is a "mal-discharge" fault & will need either an adjustment on the Y-Sustain board or a software update to the control board. Contact your LG dealer to arrange someone to sort this out for you.
If your TV is model 42PC3D, they don't have your screen in stock right now. If you look at the other screens that are 42", the are $350 and up. Other web site will charge more than double for the same screen.
well it looks to me u need a new tv....all the details u give are pointing that ur picture tube is gone.....but call LG help and costumer line and ask them......u may get away from it to get a new tv make sure when u get a new plasma to extend ur warren tie to a max o 3 to 5 years and if this would happend u get it repaires for free.......cost for a new screen app 1000 to 1500 dollars
Our 42" LG picture is also split down the middle. It doesn't matter if it is cable or a DVD. I would love to know if anyone has found out the solution to this prob. The TV is only 3 years old...
