The unit has to be cool for the solenoid that powers the lock to open. If the unit is cool, unplug or switch the appliance off at the breaker. Problems after cleaning cycles are an extremely common occurrence. The heat often fries circuitry and causes all sorts of misery for consumers. If the oven does not reset, please look at your error code again. The codes are usually either 2 or 4 digits, not 3. I am not familiar with FO6, probably because the appliance is made for Spain? In any event, in the U.S., F0 is the electronic board behind the clock. Please try the unplug/power step and let me know if it doesn't work. Thanks.

We used the self cleaning option and now we cannot get the oven door open. The lever is stuck in lock mode. Can you give suggestion?

Hello,

IF you can locate the model number tag (bottom left of door opening) you can look up the manual at www.geappliances.com

The only button on your stove that should make the door lock would be the clean button (self clean model) if that is pressed simply hit the clear/off or cancel key and wait for the door to unlock.

IF the self clean option ran for an hour or so, you will have to wait for the oven to cool down before the lock can unlock (safety feature)

F90 code flashing and i cant reset it

F90 Maximum oven door unlock time exceeded.
F91 Maximum oven door unlock attempts exceeded.
F92 Maximum oven door open time exceeded.
F93 Maximum oven door lock time exceeded.
F94 Maximum oven door lock attempts exceeded.

1. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Check the wiring between EOC & Lock Motor Micro Switch.

2. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Replace the Motor Door Latch assembly if necessary.

3. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Check for binding of the Latch Cam, Lock Motor Rod & Lock Motor Cam.

4. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Check to see if Lock Motor Coil is open. If open, replace Lock Motor Assembly.

5. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Lock Motor continuously runs - if Micro Switch is open, replace Lock Motor Assembly.

6. (F92, 93 & 94) Check oven door Light Switch - if open, replace Switch.

7. If all situations above do not solve problem, replace EOC.

F90 is a door lock code, Try this...
unplug the range.
wait 1 minute.
turn the range back on,
then while holding in on the oven door.
start another self clean.
wait 2 minutes.
then cancel the self clean.

do not release the door until the door lock light goes out.

LOC for oven door is unable to unloc

Put the oven in Self Clean mode for 3 minutes and then cancel.. if if that will release the relay that controls the lock. If that doesn't work, Unplug the oven for 10 mintues, then plug it back in holding the CLEAR button down. If neither of those work you will need to contact a service repair man.

Cant unlock self clean oven door

Door lock motor has probably failed.....Self clean on many ovens can be a self destruct mode. Door latch motors, sensor probes and even the electronic controls can be destroyed by this operation. Suggest oven cleaner method.

Locked oven door

try turning off the circuit breaker, resetting the power sometimes trips the self clean latch to operate, youll need to push in the door light switch.(it will have to think the door is closed to operate)

Oven door open

Turn the operating mode dial to self-clean, then manually hold in for about 20 seconds the light pin on the oven rim. The lock will eventually open after 20 or so seconds. Turn off the operating dial and the door will close.
