Please manually configure your PHONE with GPRS settings. Start > settings > connections > connections > Add a new modem connections. You can take the GPRS settings (like APN,ip address etc) from your operator.

well...the CD you are talking about can be procured from another user or from your phone's official home-page(if any). The upgrade for windows 5/6/6.1 is possible only if your pocket pc has at least 128 of RAM 64 ROM and a processor of at least 300MHz(i tested under these conditions and it worked fine for win 5 mobile and it worked a bit sloe for win 6).For win6.1 you require double the amount of resources. Plus of that, I don't recommend you upgrading because the fact that your device is a bit old can be an important factor for this upgrade.

You need:

1. Microsoft Active Sync ( http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/downloads/microsoft/activesync-download.mspx )
2. USB Sync Cable supplied in the sales package.

I really suggest if you can contact your Network Service Provider to send you the setting of your GPRS, they can send you over-the-air or you may call them or drop by to their offices and they can set it to you manually. It will be easier and will be more specific.

you need to get gprs service activated from your gsm service provider. and they will give you required settings for your phone.

Note: your service provider will charge you extra for GPRS service.

you need to download your mails...you have to have GPRS on your phone... please contact your GSM service provider.....they will provide all the details for gprs...and there is another way to download the mails to your pda is....download all the mails to outlook express on your computer and through activesynk...you can transfer all the mails to your PDA...

Please note that when you want to use pocket (IE) browser of your PPC (pocket PC) phone; you need to ensure GPRS setting has been made in your phone.

For GPRS setting (Example: Airtel India network) please do the following steps.

Start --> settings --> Connections(tab) --> Connections(icon) --> under My ISP tap on "Add a new modem connection" --> enter connection name: airtel --> select a modem: Cellular Line (GPRS) --> access point name: airtelgprs.com --> leave blank on username, password & domain --> Finish.

If you are using different network (sim card) then you need to get "access point name" information from them.
