You need enter the THEFT SECURITY CODE... recently unplugged the battery or change the car radio? When this occur, the LOCK CODE is request by the audio system. Can find it in the bakc side radio (need take off) or visit your dealer with ths VIN and Serial number to obtain this information (sometimes need to pay for this).

Good luck.

The clock works, but the radio does not

Have you disconnected the battery recently and the radio needs a code? If you have, post the model and any serial numbers and somebody may help with the code number.

My battery was replaced, I HAVE THE RADIO CODE , BUT IT DOESN'T TURN ON THE RADIO, MY CLOCK STOPPED, MY CD PLAYER WON'T WORK...WHAT WENT WRONG?

You need to see the dealer for information on the radio code. Also sue O'Reilly auto for improper installation of the new battery.

2000 Buick Century. Put in a replacement radio/cd/casset player. Radio works, clock works, but CD and casset do not. The message comes up E 13. What does this e code mean?

if its a radio shack radio, it means E13 means "Tape Communication Error". It is caused by the
microprocessor reading speed pulses from the tape deck either too fast, most other makes mean about the same thing, normally a stuck tape will cause this code to show up, either that or the drive gear that loads and unloads the tape is broken, cracked, or jammed

Had a dead battery, it was removed and replaced. Now radio message shows LOC. Please help with a code to unlock the radio and clock, etc.

That code is an anti theft measure, the only way to obtain a radio code legally is to look for it in the car's papers or go to a dealer and they will provide it to you for a small fee - ~ $25.

Radio does not work. Cannot set clock. Door open

There is an anti-theft system tied into your radio. When the battery goes dead, you have to reset your radio with a code. there is a code in your manual that has to be typed in. If you don't have the manual, go to the dealer. They will find the code, for free. Then, look in the manual. You have to type in the code, then hit a button or two, then the radio will come right back on. then you can reset the clock too.

My battery died on me the other day and now the radio won't work.

The Accord radio does indeed require a code. Have you tried just putting the code in. If you do not know the code do not attempt to guess, as after a few attempts you will lock the radio for good. I need to know the error message exactly as you see it if inserting the code does not work.

Battery ran down.now radio/clock don't work. flashes Error.can this be reset?

try taking the radio out and looking on the top for the parts number. call Honda and tell them what is going on and they will give you a 4 digit code that will reset the radio. i had the same problem with my 05 civic, did that and it worked for me.
good luck

Acura TSX 2005 radio code

I had the same problem when I had my battery replaced. I guess the mechanic tried to enter the code.... and after 10 tries he failed of course, and the system locked itself and gave the ERROR message.
All you need to do is leave the system on for an hour (Yes, leave it on... meaning you most likely need to drive around for an hour... and sit in the car for an hour doing nothing....) Then the ERROR message will change back to CODE (you will hear a long beep)
Now you can enter your code. Remember do it slowly. Enter the key 1 by 1... Do not input quickly, otherwise it will not work
Hope this helps!
