Motorola H700 charge issues

The headset does not seem to charge. I will plug it in and it will show red, and then recharge in only 15 minutes. I then use the headset, and it only lasts for about 5 minutes.

The rechargeable battery may have reached it's limit of recharges. You can try leaving it on until you no longer see life (any light) coming from the H700. You want to drain it completely. Than charge it, (take note of how long it takes to reach full). If it dies like before in 15 minutes than the H700 is dead. You can take it to a Motorola store & might be able to exchange it for less than you first bought it. Or you can go here (Click the link) for a new one. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/search.asp?keywords=Motorola+H700&image12.x=13&image12.y=15

Luck!

H700 won't charge

The Headset light should turn red when you plug it in. Check to makes sure the power outlet works. If it does, it might be defective. I would return to the store you bought it from and get a replacement. I purhcase many of these for my business, and never have seen that. It might just be a defective unit.

H700 automatically disconnects though fully charged

I had the same problem. It does seem to be related to the battery. The solution--in my case--was to recharge the headset until the light turned green again and then flip it open and it hooked up again.

My motorola H700 keeps staying red when charging

Wait, how long have you waited for it to charge? It's supposed to stay red until over 80% charge, then switch to yellow. When it is fully charged, it goes to green. When you mean it stays red when plugged in, have you waited the 2 hours?

Trouble connecting h700 to phone

First: When charging the light should be steady. If the battery is less than 20% charged it should be red. More than 20% it will be yellow. Fully charged it should be green. Make sure your microphone is closed when charging.

Second: Have you "Paired" the H700 and the phone? If not you need to. To put the H700 into "Pairing Mode" do this:

Make sure the H700s microphone are is in the off position. Push in and hold the button on the H700 until the light lights up purple. Release the button and quickly open the microphone button. The light will stay purple and you are now in "Pairing Mode". Now follow the instructions for your phone to pair with a BlueTooth unit. When it asks for a code, use 0000 (that is 4 zeros).

Your phone and H700 should now be connected.

Hope this helps a bunch!!!
