Miele W1203 washer drain and intake lights flashed together and now will not change modes. Can I reset it so that it will work again?

The flood protection device has activated. This is caused by a leak in the machine. It can also be caused if you are not careful when checking the drain pump,water may have gone back into appliance and activated flood protection device. If this is the case Tip machine forward,water in base of appliance will run out, and appliance will work. If Fault reoccurs then you have a leak.

    We had tried everything, according to the manual to deactivate the flood protection device & had given up, resigned to the fact that I would have to pay £175.00+++ to get a miele engineer out. I searched the web and came up with the same question. We followed the 'tip machine forward' tip to drain water out, even though we had tried to water pump out any water in our previous attempt & HEY PRESTO IT WORKED FIRST TIME ....... THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH

Miele W1203 washer that does not drain fully,I cleaned the trap and noticed that the pump impeller is not rotating freely, just half a turn left or right, could that be the problem?
something stuck in the impeller like a hair pin, coin, button, bra wire etc

Miele w1203 washing machine at end of cycle fault lights intake & Drain and the ---on panel lighted Buzzing & will not operate now. I have cleaned drain at bottom left
There are two impellers, one of which may be stuck. It's easy to wiggle them with some tool to free them up. Search on YouTube for videos on where to find them (both are right in the bottom under the filter screen so easy to get to).

Miele Touchtronic w1203 , the intake and drain fault indicator lights are both flashing at the same time
Seems that the inlet valve or water flow is low , check the inlet flow or check for clogged filter.
Also check the lint filter and the cache filter. remove and clean drain pump. This must solve the issue.

I have a Miele Platinum Turbothermic dishwasher. The intake drain light is flashing and the bottom of the washer is full of water. How do I fix it?
I have this same dishwasher I already dumped 400 into it to fix the intake drain and no more than a few uses after it breaks again I have never had more problems with a top of the line product or so what Miele thinks it is. I absolutely hate this dishwasher I refuse to put anymore money into it it is the worst product and Miele is no help they don't care whatsoever. I will never ever purchase Miele products they are more work and headache than cheaper models which will stand the test of time. What a complete piece of you know what.

Front lower left corner has an access door.  Pry the access door open.  Inside you will find a yellow tab that will open the machine glass bubble door. Below the yellow tab is a cca. 2.5 inch screw-in plug.  Place a pan in front of the machine and unscrew to plug.  Water will drain out of the machine.  With the plug removed, tilt the machine forward past 45 degrees until all water has drained out.  This will reset the washer.  Insert the screw-in plug.

Intake Drain Light
My Miele Incognito dishwasher kept getting an error with intake/drain light. The light flashed 5 times. Phoned Miele Technical Support to investigate the problem. The problem is that a seal in the bottom of the dishwasher has failed and there was water in the motor pan. Currently, $175 service charge for the technician to come look at it.

I don't want to spend $175+ to have them replace a 75 cent rubber gasket that I could replace on my own.
