Hi there my kids lost the manual of smeg dishwasher can any one help me to to show how to drain disher after finishig of use of it i mean what to press thanks
My dishwasher is draining on the floor not through the drain tube. I disconnected the drain tube off from the drain under the sink. Ran the dishwasher to see if there was a clog but the water drained onto the floor.
Hi,
Thanks for writing to Fixya.com.
To fix a dishwasher that will not drain, remove any clogs that are blocking the drain line by pouring a paste of baking soda, vinegar and water down the drain, and then pouring boiling water to clear the clog. Repeat the process several times to remove a severely clogged dishwasher drain. Thanks for contacting Fixya and please accept the solution if it has helped you.

This is generally because of a stuck diverter solenoid. The water goes to the pump and then is either sent to the wash arms or the drain. Also, check the drain.

Hi,
the first things to look for, are the simplist faults.
1:) Check that the Outlet Hose-Pipe Isn,t Blocked-Kinked Or Bent.
2:) Check that the Pump, is not clogged/Blocked or not-functioning.
Hope this helps you start, your fault-finding successfully.

I have a quiet partner I and it is doing the same thing!
I have only had it for 3 months. It did it once before, then after about a week, I tried it again and it worked fine?
I can't find my warranty anywhere. I bought it at Lowes.
Does anyone have any kind of solution? Looks like it is a common problem.

The average life of a dishwasher is 7-10 years. The symptoms strongly indicate a motor pump problem and my personal opinion is if that is the case youd be better to put the money toward a new dishwasher.
