When I acquire pictures from SD card, it acquires

I have a Panasonic DMC-LZ5 digital camera. When I acquire pictures from sd card to pc it acquires all the pictures previously on the card. I only want the pictures I just took to be acquired. How do I get only the new pictures to be acquired to pc and not the old ones?

You shouldn't be leaving the old pictures on the card. That's a guaranteed way to get into trouble. After downloading your pictures, format the card in the camera.

If you want to transfer just the new pictures, you'll have to select those pictures for transfer. Since you declined to specify what software you're using, I can't tell you precisely how to do that.

Dmc ls80 transfer

Most cameras don't have enough internal memory to take more than 1 or 2 pictures internally. Picture transfer is normally accomplished via usb cord. The process begins when you plug in your usb and power on the camera. You have to navigate between internal memory and SD card in windows explorer.

Memory card protected

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Make sure you're using an SD card, 2GB and smaller. The DMC-LZ5 will not work with higher-capacity SDHC cards.

When I acquire pictures from SD card, it acquires

The only way is to use a separate card reader. When it opens on your computer, select the new pics and drag and drop them where you want them.

I am unable to un-protect the memory card on my panasonic DMC=LZ5 camera. The same card had been in the camera and in use and suddenly it became protected. How do I get it back to normal (unprotected)?

Where does Lumix® digital camera store the pictures I take?

Unlike 35mm cameras that store images on film, Lumix® Digital Cameras store images on SD Memory Cards, which make sharing and storing your pictures easy and convenient. You simply insert an SD Memory Card into the camera, take pictures until the card is full, and then you can transfer the pictures onto a compatible PC. Once you saved all your pictures, you can erase the card and start all over again.
