Sounds like the registration rollers and the duplex rollers need to be replaced. they have finnally gotten worn out to the point that single sided copies are fine but the paper slips during the duplexing and offsets the copies

I do not have a solution for that. A Canon printer tech would know what to do to fix it. But you have to weigh the cost of a fix with the cost of the printer.

Read out says remove the jammed paper from the duplexing unit. where is the duplexing unit?

the duplexing unit is under the fixing feeder frame unit..... have only worked on one NP before and it was much like the IR5000 all you need to do is pull out the tray under the fixing frame assemble

Digital replacement for Canon NP 6025

"No" is the answer to all of those questions, and even if it were "yes", purchasing a good quality refurbished digital machine from a reputable supplier, would still be a far cheaper option than all of that.
Not in or around Toronto, are you?

Canon imageCLASS MF6530; can't set up duplex (2sided) printing

hi there
there are 2 ways to copy 2 sided
one is full duplex which means your copier must have a duplex attatchment fitted on the copier lid
the other if it hasn't got a duplexer is to copy in 1 to 2 mode which means you have to turn the copy over. it sounds like your machine has not got a duplexer fitted but it can still do double sided using 1 to 2.

hope this helps
