My samsung HP-T4254 keeps turning off in the middle of watching something and makes a clicking noise similar to the one it makes when you go to turn the tv on or off. This noise does not stop until I unplag the power cord.

Can't get my samsung hp-t4254 42" plasma tv to

make shure that the computer is set up to display on the screen. To check and see right click on your desktop, click on the option that says screen resolution, and then change your settings from their. The tv will not register that you have a computer plugged into it if the computer is not sending the tv a signal.

My Samsung flat screen tv won't turn on and it keeps clicking - it keeps trying to turn on but then starts clicking again.

There's a couple transistors on the Power Supply board that are probably bad. On mine, the solder joint was bad on the bottom side of the board that pointed me at those transistors in particular. Part number is FQPF9N50C. Also, you could get a refurb or new power supply board of ebay or send your board in for service (also on ebay).Or there's a "repair kit" you can get that contains 4 transistors and a couple caps I think. If you are an electronics junky and like soldering stuff, that would be the way to go... I just ordered the two transistors off ebay for like $6.
