I tested the magnatron with my meter.
I seriously doubt you could test a magnetron with any meter you have. It would take a 5000 volt source to check the emission and then a microwave power meter to check the output. The filament which is the only thing you could test with an ohmmeter rarely go out. Overheating and gas formation are the common failures.
There is often a high voltage diode that rectifies the power from a current limiting transformer. These do go bad at times. Since they have many junctions in series to take the voltage, they are not easily checked with a meter like single diodes are tested.
Remember there is about 5000 volts from that transformer during operation.
