My true freezer temperature gage has a P1 flashing code
My true freezer temperature gage is flashing a P1 code one moment and then it reads 125-230 degree next but is actually freezing fine. All we did was change the solenoid. What do we need to do? thanks
Re: my true freezer temperature gage has a P1 flashing...
If unit keeps proper temp. then I would think that either the thermometer sensing probe may have been damaged during the repair process or the thermometer itself has failed.

This is true of all HVAC type systems. The condensor releases heat from the expansion of the coolant. As long as the temperature is lower than the exchanged heat then there is no impact to efficiency.
P1 is a probe fault on the control probe. Check it's not damaged or got water in the end.Check the connection to the controller. If all good, replace probe.
P1 is almost always a fault on the sensing (control) probe. Check it's end is not wet or covered in thick ice, and check the connections at the controller. If you can, change the probe connections on the controller temporarily. If P2 then shows it proves the probe is faulty. If P1 still shows, it proves the controller is at fault.
Have a look at the Make and model of your thermostat and download the Instructions from the internet or give ur local refrigeration mechanic a call and ask him they are easy to set
Hi,
You need to check first that there is no leakage of your gas in your compressor system thats responsible for cooling the refrigerator. If you have the manual you an read it to locate the regulator
