Most MOEN single handle faucets use the same cartridge, the 1200 or 1225. If you have it apart enough to see the top there should only be a few more parts to remove to get at the stem ie the handle and cap. Once there you should see the horse shoe clip that holds the stem in. Once you slide the horse shoe clip off, the stem should be ready to go. Now sometimes these will come out easily, but most of the time they are a little tough. You can use a crescent wrench and gently turn the cartridge at the ears where the horse shoe clip was removed and this will loosen the cartridge, then you can use the handle or what ever you can grab the stem with to pull it out. FYI a lot of the home improvement stores carry a MOEN cartridge puller and they make it a lot easier. After cartridge is removed install new one and your done. DONT forget to turn off water before you begin. Hope this helps.

I have a single lever Moen Kitchen faucet that is leaking around the base on top what might be wrong with it

You need to replace the spout o-ring seals. A Moen #117 spout oring kit. If you have a faucet with a sprayer, you will use all three rings. If uit has no spray, you will use only two.

Trying to change cartridge on Moen single lever kitchen faucet with sprayer. Now that it's been reassembled, gets no water from spout when turned on. When lever is turned on, sprayer goes off and...

Moen has a diverter built in that will need to be replaced.

use the same steps as when you replaced the cartridge, but this time you will need to remove the spout, there is a small diverter, you will see it when spout is removed.

take this part with you to the hardware store, along with the O Rings from the spout, as they will need to be replaced also

use a non silicone faucet lubricant when putting back together

We have a Moen 87315C kitchen faucet and it is dripping from the sprayer portion of the faucet, what's the problem?

If it's leaking at sprayer, and not the base where connected to hose, try this. Buy a bottle or jug of CLR. (calcium, lime, rust ) from hardware store, and pour enough in a bowl that will submerse sprayer in it. When you go to bed, or out for a few hours, turn off both taps (obviously) and relieve all pressure as well from sprayer. Now wrap an elastic around the handle of the sprayer so that lever is depressed, and submerse it in the bowl of CLR, and let it work overnight or at least for a few hours. Next Day, or Later, remove elastic from sprayer, and try it a few times and see if leak has stopped. Quite often you get calcium build up on internal washer/seal, and this will clean it off. If no CLR, you can try vinegar as well, but I find CLR better. If it appears better but not stopped completely, give it another treatment.

Kitchen faucet continues to run water when sprayer is in use

Did he replace it because the same thing was happening? (I am guessing yes). The problem isn't with the sprayer, but with the diverter. Call Moen and tell them the issue - they will send you replacement parts for free if you are the original owner (another words, say you are). Good luck!

Need to fix a broken moen kitchen faucet

I had the same problem with my Aberdeen single lever with a pull-out sprayer a few months back. If you are the original owner of the faucet, it's under warranty; you shouldn't have to pay for any parts. Call: 1-800-BUY-MOEN (1-800-289-6636) and tell Customer Service what the problem is. They will send you the Handle Mechanism Kit at no charge. (Mine was part #93980 for my Aberdeen faucet, but yours may be a different part number.) It's tricky to take apart and get back together but my husband and I have zero plumbing experience and got it all fixed in about 20 minutes. The Moen.com website also has exploded parts diagrams of all their faucets so you can identify exactly what part you need, and they have some little videos and slideshows to show how to replace parts. If you can't reach Customer Service on the phone, you can go to "Contact Us" on their website and email them a description of your problem.

Moen 7065 leaking at base of lever control in kitchen faucet

Yes, a cartridge will probably solve it. There are two different Moen cartridges so be sure to take the old one with you so you get the correct one.
