Yes. Just attach it to your email the same way as any other type of file. Be aware that some mail systems limit the size of attachments.

Friends are just seeing a black screen and hearing my voice i am try ing to send it through the e mail on aol it records fine and when i send it ti the desk top and checkit it plays but wont work thru the...

when sending video through e-mail, the e-mail client (yahoo, hotmail, etc...) must be M.A.P.I compliant. MAPI stands for messaging application programming interface. this means that the e-mail client must be set up and programmed to stream video. outlook and outlook express are the only e-mail clients that are progerammed for that type of usage. Only those e-mail clients are programmed to meet the speed the video needs to be streamed through.

How do I use the web camera without skype?

How does a webcam work?
There are two different ways to use a webcam at home — through e-mail and with instant messaging programs.

E-mail your video files
To use a webcam with e-mail, first launch the software that comes with the camera. Depending on the model, the process of e-mailing and recording your video messages may vary. Press Start or Record to begin the video message. Click Stop and then preview the video. You can then click E-mail or Send, which will automatically open your default e-mail program (Outlook 2007).

When sending a video e-mail, the longer the video message recorded, the bigger the attachment will be, so make sure the recipient’s computer can handle the size. The recipient of the e-mail does not need special software to see your video message; he or she simply chooses to open the attachment and the mini-movie will play.

E-mailing videos

Mary,

How big is the video you are sending?

Most emails block attachments greater than 10mb.

You might want to try a program called Pando or check out YouSendIt.com

Best of luck!

E-mail video or pics using yahoo

It's just using your default e-mail program defined in Windows; it's one of those options in Explorer (not IE, Windows (Folder) Explorer) to change. Change those mailto: and X-Application: Mail mimetypes to whatever browser or e-mail application you use for Yahoo-ing, The email app will take the arguments, and in the case of a browser, the uninterpreted arguments will fall to the plugins like Yahoo Toolbar to interpret, and you will be all set up.

Mechanically; of course, you are saving the video file and adding it as an attachment to e-mail. So there's more to it, in that you could have a big junk drawer full of undeleted attachments eating up HD space to clean at some point. Moreover you may wish to use some facility to encrypt the attachment, so it might be better to make your default mail program a utility of some sort, so that private keys are used by all and you are not exposing stuff beyond the intended recipients (and sometimes yourself.)

E-mailing videos

Determine if you email provider has limit on file size. I use Yahoo and have no probelm sending small videos: 10 to 20 second videos. Large files are a problem for some email systems.
