Keep on tapping F1 as soon as you se the Lenovo screen upon powering the system, if that does not work as soon as you turn the system on keep tapping F12 instead this will bring you to a boot menu down below will be enter setup highlight the enter setup and press enter to enter BIOS from that screen, from ther you can turn on your wireless card if it is turned off, try looking under Components tab or Devices, depending on the BIOS you should see network adapters or wireless adapters, I hope this Works

I have a acer travelmate c110 and I am trying to connect to a wireless connection but the wireless switch is not on and I do not know how to turn it on. Please help.

There should either be a physical switch somewhere on the side of the laptop or by using the FN + a certain key to activate it. Look at the F keys for an image similar to wireless then try that. If the above does not work, its probably turned off in the BIOS. Access BIOS and turn it on.

HOW DO YOU TURN BLUETOOTH ON

Check the BIOS to ensure the wireless card is detected. Also verify the Wireless setting is turned on and not set to Always Off.
If the Bluetooth device is installed, also verify the radio LED is enabled. You can turn the wireless and Bluetooth cards on or off with the wireless switch.
If the card does not show up in the BIOS or Device Manager, try reseating the card.

Internet wireless card

It's possible that the wireless driver is not installed or the wireless card is turned off in the bios or defective.

1. Check if the the driver is installed. Go to start. Right click 'My computer'. Left click properties. click hardware. click device manager. If there is a red 'X' on the wireless driver. Right click it and click enable. If there is a question mark on network controller or wireless driver. Click this link and choose the model of your laptop to get the wireless driver. Run the file to install the driver. Restart the computer if instructed then see if it worked.

2. If the light still wont turn on, go to the bios. You can do this by turning the computer off. Turn it on and repeatedly tap F2 right after pressing the power button. You should get a screen where you can change the settings. Click this link and choose your laptop's model and look for the instructions on how to turn on the wireless card in the bios. You may also browse the BIOS screen for that setting. Once you've set it to on, save the changes and restart the computer.
