Are you having a problem with your printer? If yes, and if the printer stops printing, then it has something to do with the print spooler.

Try the steps below:

On your computer:

Start > Run or Search > type "services.msc" (without quotes) > Enter.
Locate and click the "Print Spooler". Once highlighted in Blue, click the "Stop the service", then click the "Restart the service".

Then clear out the print queue, cancel all pending documents, then try printing again.

Thank you and good luck!

Printer cutting off words

Is this happening with every program you use to print? If it's just a single program, try changing the line spacing. It sounds as if you've got the line spacing too small for the current font and it's cutting off the bottoms in order to print the next line.

My printers is not automatically cutting the receipts

Cutting is typically either a command being sent in the print stream from the computer or is a configuration setting in the printer to cut after printing. Also be sure the cutting mechanism is connected properly.

The printer cuts off the top part of the document when printing. Is this a margin issue?

Yes, most likely your application's margin settings are incorrect. Try printing a test page - NOT from the application. If this is Windows, go to printers in control panel, right-click on the subject printer, choose Properties, then click the Print Test Page button. You should get the standard Windows printer test page with the logo at the top and all the printer specifics below. If the test page is also cut off, look around in the HP-provided software for any margin and/or page size settings that are incorrect, such as A4 paper when it should really be Letter size.

Printed Tape Cuts Off Letters

I was having the ame issue. Found the solution on the user manual (posted online). Press Function, scroll to "Margin", press "Function", use arrows to select "#" or "##", then press Function again. Now it should print with a margin, thus not cutting off your letters. Mine was set to "-", which is basically no margin.
