ROTEL RCD-951 TM can not open tray.

Hello Ruben, so you do not open the CD holder tray of your Rotel, the problem is that the belt that transmits the rotation of the engine to the mechanism of the car, may be stretched and therefore the car does not open, this is the most common fault in this type of CD players
You should replace it, if you can not do it, look for a specialized technical service
I hope you can solve the problem
Greetings Franco Dosil

Saludos Franco Dosil

Why am I getting so many tracks when I record a meeting, we use a sony cd recorder

Unless you select Manual Track assignment the CD Recorder will assign a new track number whenever it senses extended silence (or what passes for it, sufficiently low input), typically 4 seconds.

Conversation would contain many instances that qualify as a new track.

My 2006 Camry's CD player jumps track

You have the RANDOM feature engaged. Look at the player and push the button under the word "RAND" off. The RAND is just that: random tracks.

CD player skips on early tracks

The lens assembly in a CD player glides along on a two rail track, kinda like a railroad track except tubular. The lens carriage is moved over this track by a small motor driving a worm gear. (Think long, tubular and spiral). If the rail tracks or the worm gear dry up or have dust accumulating on them, this could be the cause. Normally they have a light gear oil or lithium grease on them to keep them lubricated.
