We can pick up an outside line, but when you put the line on hold it automatically forwards to a phone in the basement and starts ringing. We didn't ask it to do this, and it is most unwelcome. Basically, we can't use our front desk phone to route the calls which is its job. If anyone knows a solution to this weird problem, or if there is Meridian / NorStar tech support someplace, that would be awesome.
