SOURCE: i have a 220 440 electric motor on my 4 post 3 ton
You need to either change the motor to a single phase or check into a single to three phase converter...I would do which ever is cheaper myself. You could go single phase, but the cost of operation would be higher depending on the duty cycle.

SOURCE: i have a gmf electric motor and it has 4 wires ..
No it is a single phase motor the different wire colors are the different speeds brown would be common and then black is high, yellow medium and blue low and green is ground.
SOURCE: 3 phase air compressor wrong rotation
yes it will you need to make sure you have the proper wires connected to get either clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation.
try changing the hot wires around to correct your problem

SOURCE: dewalt radial arm saw GW1- Is it single phase or 3 phase
if the plug on the cord fits any other outlet in the house it will be single phase
if the cord is cut , then it will have only 3 wires if it is single phase
( active , neutral and ground )
if it has 4 or more wires it will be 3 phase
most saws running a 200 mm blade or around that size and used for home duty will be single phase
the phase notation will be on the plate attached to the motor of the saw
It will read voltage , amperage, watts or hp, phase and cycles
