i put my install disk in now what do i do?

quick fix if so inclined disconnect-reconnect from motherboard at dvd end should search&dwnload drivers

you can go online and download the driver package. go to lg and click on drivers usually for free...

well you really don't need drivers for xp+ systems. it should automatically be recognized. you just have to get cd/dvd burning software like Nero.
according to this site that drive won't be recognized by vista with out a firmware update
