ASKO 1595 Dear greendude, thank you for your reply! i haven't checked the solution yet but wanted to specify: i've got ASKO 1595 and have had it for 4 years. recent year it started to mulfunction: sometimes it would stop in the middle of draining cycle and fault light would flash. this could be normally fixed by unpluging power cord, waitng for a few minutes and pluging power back again. wahat happened now is the different: dishwasher came on on its own, nowbody started it. it came on (draining motor i think) and stayed on with fault lights flashing. unpluging power cord stops it but when power cord is pluged back again, it starts draining immediately (like above without start button). pls, confirm you still think there maybe water in the base. thank you!

I have a different Asko model so this may not apply. The screws are Torx and you need the proper fitting. Everything is symmetric with the same screws and locations on the left and right. Mine has two screws for a front kick panel, two screws for the front trim piece that matches the door, and then four screws, to on the underside of the cabinet and two on the front to remove the final piece. There are also two adjusters that slide out after pressing a tab on the outside of the slider.
Hi mike,
thanks for the clarification. Having this info, I am not sure this model is as the post indicates - "1595". Is it possibly a 1473 or 1474 model with a power button by the door handle ? If so, that is the most common problem with that style Asko. The contacts inside the button make momentary contact & then stop which requires replacing tge switch. Let me know if it is indeed one of these models or confirm what model number it is ok ?
Thanks,
Macmarkus
Make sure all the spray bars are rotating good, that there is no trash in the spray bars or plugged nozzles, and that the pump inlet screen at the bottom of the dishwasher is not plugged up.
The dispenser works on water spraying on the cover.
If all the above doesn't fix it, then replace the dispenser.
most of the time there is a schematic behind the kick plate or the door skin but it wont tell you the value or the resistors.but theres normally another cause for the board to blow.is the rinse aid leaking into the door skin,or wires starting to break in the door.the boards are normally sold complete.I work for asko and find the boards dont normally fail by themselves.hopt this helps.
diagnostics were right on the money!!!
