On/Off Button on TV not working, constant flashing message

Turned TV on this evening, a message started flashing in the centre of the screen: "This function is not available now." We cannot turn the TV Off/On now with the button on the front of the TV and even though we can turn it off with the remote control, it goes on again by itself, won't stay shut off. We even unplugged the TV, hoping to possibly reset it, but when we plugged it back in, message resumed and front button still does not work. HELP!!

Trying to replace lamp in HDTV and having trouble. Does not function correctly after putting in new bulb. Boots up and then visuals go black and the green power light keeps flashing. Help?

Panasonic DLP TV Bulbs

Make sure its an original Osram or Philips bulb inside the housing. If its a cheap lamp it will act this way. If it is an original lamp, then you may have a power supply issue. It shouldn't affect your TV but you may want to try resetting the lamp timer by following the instructions that came with the lamp.

TY-LA1001 Timer reset

While pressing the VOL- button on the projection display, hold down the number 0 button on the remote control at the same time for more than 5 seconds.

My Samsung LE32N7 does not come on. The blue light under the screen constantly flashes without the tv coming on.

Hi, maybe the TV controller board is blocked, you can reset it, by disconnecting power cable from outlet for about 5 minutes, if that doesn't work, possibly and internal board or component must be repaired of replaced, in such case it's better to contact an authorized Samsung service center or technician to check your TV.

I turned on the TV but just got a black screen but could hear audio just fine. Turned the set off and unplugged it. When I plugged it back in the green timer light started flashing and would not stop...

Nonstop blinking is likely a DM or format board - format board most likely. I have rebuilt several of these by simply replacing all the caps, about 70 of them, and takes about two hours start to finish... But this set does need to boot. It takes about 70 seconds of flashing green light before you're able to press the power button - even when everthing is working as it should..
Hope this helps!
