There is a static sound in whichever speaker is plugged into the right outlet.
Static can be caused by a few things.
Does the static persist if you unplug the audio cable from your computer?
If so, the static is being caused by the amplifier built in to your speakers.
If not, the static is probably caused by interference on your sound card. Try plugging the speakers in to a portable media player. You might need to replace the sound card in your computer.
have you tried this control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to system devices + to expand, system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable)
