Wiring for Goldstar R5050 window A/C

I have an model R5050Y3 window A/C unit that fell out of the window (long story!), and when it fell, the 2 wires of the power cord pulled out of their conection inside the unit (the ground wire stayed attached). Unfortunately, I can't tell which posts to re-attach the 2 wires from the power cord to. I tried attaching to the 2 open posts that are on the back of the switch that controls low cool, high cool, low fan, high fan, etc, but the house's circuit breaker tripped when it was plugged back in. Can you help?

Yes I accidentally drop my Gold Star Model #R5050 out the window while installing it. I opened it up and the two(2) white wire are off and I don't know were they go. I try to connect the to the empty terminals and I got a spark out of the outlet. Can you please help me....

SOURCE: not blowing cold air

There is a problem and you or an Ac technician has to find it.

most small a/c threw the wall unit use evap condensate water to sling over to cool condenser but a three sided pan can be used to catch excess condensate water will have to be fabricated, use caution when mounting refrigerant tubing threw out that area.

My ac unit fell out of the window while it was pluged in and pulled the power cord connectors off of thier terminals. i have no idea were to reconnect the power cord inside the machine. there are mulitiple...

Typically there is a wiring diagram stamped right on the unit.just have to find

Power cable is out of Air Conditoner what to do in this case?

Hi, if the unit fell and pulled the cord out, all you can do is to wire it back in. The unit is probably 220 volts, so it will be fairly easy to do. Look at the wiring and see where the wires have come off. All you have is 3- wires and a ground. Look at the wiring diagram, and it will show you exactly how to do this.

Water is dripping from inside unit-RUUD water is dripping inside the window. Don't know what to do. How do I unclog and were is the hole to uclog it from. It's a widow AC

Window AC's mut be installed with the back slightly lower than the front to allow the condensate (water) to drip outside

well u should take it out the window and dran the water out unite thwe water is gone then put it back ang if u still see that its freezing try it again and then put it one and u my have to do this offin to keep it from freezing
