Have you tried disabling the anti-virus, will it print? If not, uninstall the Lexmark software properly by clicking on the Windows logo Start menu > All Programs > Lexmark Series folder > Tools > Uninstall. Then, restart pc. I suggest you install the updated driver available for download in the Lexmark website (I assume you have the Lexmark X7170 and your computer's running on Windows XP). Just click on this link: http://bit.ly/dxFJ36. Download the software. When installing, just to make sure, disable any firewall and your anti-virus temporarily. Was this working fine before? Can the printer still make copies using the buttons on it? Are you getting any particular error when printing? What is the operating system of your computer? Did you have some recent updates in your computer that might have accidentally disrupted the printer communications?

i think that from then it started happening
i went to printers nad fax and everything is ok
i disconnected also the printer and restarted de computer
when i try to print it says
