Have a WD-52725 Mitsubishi TV. Notices lines

Have a WD-52725 Mitsubishi TV. Noticed lines running through tv. Sometimes a lot, sometimes not so much. Now TV has blinking red light. What happened and estimate cost of repair please. Only had this tv for 5 years. Not liking Mitsubishi very much at the moment.

Ur tv have convergence problems before,that why tv getting colors lines somtimes alot,sometimes not.The 2 STK convergence ICS was defective.Now the 2 STK convergence ICS are now totally dead.The shop will cost u $300-350 for parts and labors for the 2 STK convergence ICS,and it supporting resistors.

There are small surface mounted capacitors on the dm Board and the fmt board that have gone bad. They need to be replaced. Most tv techs will charge about $400 to do this.

Yes you can.
Speakers are probably good unless they were subjected to the elements(outside TV's do get damaged sometimes from being outside on patio ,etc.
