Please help Can not figure out why my subs and amp will not power from the deck. i have music going to my stock speakers but not my ones in my trunk. Amp powers on, deck has been replaced with new one, all cables are good

I can not find anything that works on fixing this problem.

The amp is getting power only when the remote wire and the RC connectors are plugged in. I can pull out the power supply to the amp and it will still be lite up as long as those other 2 wires are plugged in,

We tested the amp and it is in fact pushing out everything it needs to, so we know that is not the issue,

When i checked the outputs on the Alpine it was not showing anything. I called best-buy and they said that was an issue with this model sometimes. The exchanged it with no questions asked. They also tested the RC plugs in the back and said they were good.

So i should be able just to come home and plug everything in. Well it still is not working.

In fact i left it on for about 10 minutes and the amp was not even warming up.

There has to be a setting or something on the cd player that i am missing.

My sound stopped working except the sub and amp.

If you have a little electronic know how... it can be a blown capacitor in the speaker. If you find it, solder a new one in and turn the volume down in the future. And look around for any signs of burnt insulation. Trunk amps are notorious for being insufficiently wired for power.

Stereo install yukon w amp and subs

Recheck your connections from deck to "non-sub" speakers. Are you using an adapter from deck to vehicle wiring harness OR are all wires individually connected?

each speaker in your car runs the wiring thru an amp. So each spkear has its own amp for the bose system. You can not hook up a none bose radio If you do you will need to run new wires and replace all the speakers. Sorry.

Where is best location to mount speakers besides trunk and trunk deck & doors?

Kick Panals are good, boxes are expensive though as they must be custom fit. Dashboard mounts, prolly only for componant speakers not subs. But if you wanna add speakers, you can always put more in the doors, trunk, or trunk deck to. Or replace your factory trunk deck, or door panals, and customize them to fit as many speakers as you like, have fun with it..

I just got the Kenwood Sub KSC WA100 from my cousin with no electric wires or nothing so pretty much what all do i need and where can i find it i will be putting it in a 07 nissan sentra 2.0

Subs are subs, they come with no wiring. You need an amp and all necessary wiring to get it bumping. What type of deck do you have? Where will the sub be placed? In the trunk? Amp install is easy. Also suggest purchasing one of those amp kits for $20-$30, makes it a bit easier.

What car amp to use to run 2 dvc subs

You need a stereo amp that can run 400amps
continous, with an output of 4 ohms. These should
not be too hard to find and they are getting smaller
all of the time. Make a practice look on ebay.
They give you pictures and you can check the dimentions first, so you know it can fit between
your two deck lids.
