SOURCE: I put my R4i gold card in the slot but it just

Since your actually not supposed to use the gold card according to the government the dsi might be a stubborn one and the gold card info cant get through or your gold card might be faulty. The most foolproof solution is to get a R4i sdhc in a red box. Then again you can try blowing into the card insert or blowing into the sandisk slot.

Good luck! :)

SOURCE: R4: An error has occured

The DSi has a firewall. The DSi blocks your card. Not a new SD, but a new R4, mate.

SOURCE: when i insert my R4i for DSi card, it start to say

You're not going to find manual support for a flash card like the R4.
Your best bet is to just reformat the SD card and start over again.
There's a great tutorial to set it up on http://www.dscardworld.com with pictures and links to all the official software on their support page.

If you suspect that you have unstable fake clone version you can get a genuine card there too. I managed to find this site after I got burned at a few others. Loved having my emails responded to because I had loads of questions, and they were quick to ship it.

Best of luck!

SOURCE: An error has occurred. Press

I've got the same problem. So I search over the internet but I can't find anything so I went to the gameshop and they told me the shocking news dat because I did press on Update, and because of that, they blocked the NDS for using r4i cards. The card is OK, its the NDS thats blocked. So she said to me the best thing you can is sell your DS and buy a new one, or wait untill their is an new firmware that solve the problem, but no idea how long that could be. :(

Error occured press hold power

I've got that message before. What that means, is that sorry, but you won't be able to play that game ever again. What causes this is that the firmware in the update blocks some things that Nintendo wants to be blocked, so they block it. There's a simple solution though: You won't be able to play this game. (This happened o me with Action Replay)

Try a video reset first.

While the PS3 is off (red led)

Hold down the power button until you hear the second beep, quickly release.

Let me know if that solves your problem otherwise it's a corrupt file system.
