There is no schematic or number on air handler .outside unit is Goodman # CPE48-1FB.How can i get a schematic for Air handler.

low air flow. dirty filter, dirty coil, unit low on freon.

3 amp fuse blown in air handler, bad contactor in od unit, no 240 volt power to contactor.

The wires on a Goodman Air Handler Red to R, blue or brown to c, yellow to y cool, green fan g, white to w heat

its the TXV and yes its supposedd to on the outside of the cabinet. should be insulated though.

Goodman air handlers (inside unit) fan have a delay timer that turn on the fan ,sometimes up to 3 minutes after the outside unit is on,this makes the a/c more efficiency.

Sounds like compressor is bad...taken out by a bad contactor.

Wire tstat normaly> Take the Y off the tstat and it goes to the outside unit. The other wire from the outside init goes to the common off the transformer. This is marked with blue,brown or black. Russ

Does the cpompressor come on if not the sound you here maybe the contactor. Check float switch inside. It is underneath the unit or in front of the air handler. Drain stopped up need to blow out drain. Check outside breakers. possible bad capacitor on unit. Need service tech. Rusty

If your running gas heat it's 5/8 3/8 tubing.If it's elec. heat it's 3/4 3/8 tubing. Etheirway 3/4 3/8 works for both. Use 6 wire for tstat from tstat to furnace or air handler, and you need is 2 wire from condensing unit [outside] to furnace or air handler or anything more than two.
