Skyscan digital wall clock just quit showing outside temperature

Just today, my wall skyscan clock quit showing the outside temp. The outside temperature piece is where it always has been. We changed batteries in it thinking that might be the problem but it does not seem to be. Do I have to reset things if you change the batteries to start it up again? I have lost my manual...

You probably need to 'pair' the outdoor sensor with the main base: look for a 'channel' button, as these units usually can get information from several sensors and differentiate them by a channel number.

My clock quit picking up the atomic signal, even with new batteries installed.

Try temporarily locating it in a different location until it picks up a signal, usually around a window.

My clock is nort showing up the outside tempertute

Seems to be a consistent problem with Skyscan. I have the 88800 model and my outdoor transmitter isn't transmitting the temperature either. We've replaced the batteries in both the transmitter and clock and nothing for outdoor temp. It's only been used for 9 months.

My skyscan model 87800 will not show outside temp. i have changed batteries but still get nothing on outside temp

Look in the manual, There should be a section on remote sensors, they usualy have a "sync" button on them. and hit main unit first then remote.

Also,

If you have lost the outside temperature on the clock display after replacing the transmitter battery then do the following:

1. Make sure you have good batteries installed in the remote transmitter
2. Remove the batteries from the main clock and keep them out until the clock display disappers.
3. Re-install the batteries in the clock.
4. Wait until the display returns and includes the outside temperature display as well.
5. Set the clock again for current time/date etc.
6. Bingo. You are in business.

Outside temperture

Try changing the batteries in the CLOCK. I had the same problem in a 3M similar clock and it didn't read the transmitter correctly or eventually, at all, when the CLOCK batteries were getting low.
