For most front-loaders:
Open the top of washer, screws behind, slide away from front couple of inches & lift up. Lubricate the slot which fits over the tub with washing-up fluid, if there is resistance to insert. Starting at the top, press the seal so the flange of the tub enters the slot on the seal. Work your way round the using thumbs to force the slot on the tub flange. When slot is on the flange all way round, fit the spring which holds it on. The spring goes into a slot on the outside of the seal. This is quite difficult and you may need another pair of hands. Fit the outside of the seal to the cabinet - this is easy and fit the plastic clamping ring.
Test for leaks before using. Use rinse to test as the water level is higher.

I have a Hotpoint Aquaris WF000, 1000 spin washing machine and when I put it on the lights flash and nothing else happens. What could be wrong with it please

Hi
It seems to be a fault with this make of washing machine.
I changed the door lock and that seemed to cure it for a while. However it now seems to be doing it again.
What I have discovered is the following:
Turn the washing machine off completely at the wall and pull the plug out - leave it out for about one minute and then plug it back in and switch on. This should cure the problem and it will work again.
You may have to do this every now and again to clear some fault it has in the circuit board so leave some access to your plug socket.
I hope this helps.

Door will not open after cycle finishes

I had similar problem, but never found the cause, ended up spinning washing again and again until I could open door. Control system replacements are expensive , almost as much as a new machine.

Hotpoint aquaries wf321 is making a loud clicking/knocking noise when its in the spin cycle, to me sounds like a poss bearing gone or maybe something is caught up?

From the front of the washer, spin the drum by hand, if it feels rough or is noisy or rumbling, then the drum bearings have failed.
It is possible that there is something caught between the inner and outer drum.

We have a hotpoint wd420 washing machine and it wont finnish a wash cycle. wont drain the water either, we do get an error code though in that the door locked light flashes as well as the reduce creases...

you have a blocked pipe - where the water is draining out. Either that or your filter is blocked.

best you open the back and take a look at the filter before calling out hotpoint - might save you 100 pound call out charge.

WD640 Aquarious supersilent washer/dryer leaking from powder draw

during the rinse the machine uses a higher level of water, therefore check the door seal for holes,if the water is leaking from the soap drawer in the spin then this suggests that you may have a blockage in the outlet hose or in the sump filter, to check the filter remove the sump hose, the filter is hidden in the hose.
