Insignia 37 in lcd, trun on light gose blue

sounds like a bad mainboard

you have a faulty parts inside..try to disconnect one by one the supply of all board until you get stable lights..

power light on blue , screen dose nothing ,trun off red light blinks

There are two places to look for the problems, the backlight inverter board and the power supply. Look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.

Nothing at all? Does the screen seem to go from dark black to a lighter shade of black?

If the screen appears to stay on the darker shade of black then it is broken, and needs to be sent for repair. ( ie the screen isnt powering on when the tv is and there is nothing you can do without opening it.

You might try unplugging all cables and leaving it off with no power for a day This is in effect performing a factory reset.

and this may sound stupid and patronizing but is the TV being taken out of standby mode and actually switched on?

This is a problem that should be taken in for service as there could be many problems causing the problem. The power supply could not be supplying voltage to run the video card or you could have a failure in the video card itself. Try calling this number for Insignia Customer service help. 1-877-467-4289. I have Philips 42pf9431d/37b and i re hucked up my tv.
It truns on and goes to green and red how can i solve it.

If the screen is black and you have sound then lightly press and shine a strong flashlight against the screen. If you see an image around the edge of the flashlight, an image is being 'displayed'. The problem is probably in the Inverter/CCFT or the power going to the Inverter.

The LCD panel is most likely shot. Bring it into a repair depot to check. Hopefully, you're under warranty.
