Give it a thorough cleaning.. if it still does not fire you might have to replace the spark plug.

Little Suggestion Internal there can be a problem in the upperpart circuit thats been mechanically actuated by the safety bracket that is pushing on a microswitch that bracket on the nailers front can be a little bent.

Check to make sure the driver is returning to the start position. If it isn't then remove the battery and push it back with a small flat ***** driver until it stops. Fire it again and check to see if the driver is in or out. If it is out, then the exhaust and piston ring needs to be replaced.

I have a cordless paslode impulse finish nailer is missfiring. the battery is fully charged, the gas chamber is full.

Hi there,

Has the tool been striped down and cleaned lately? And are you using genuine paslode gas? If not, do these two fixes first and try again.

Paslode impulse finishing gun wont fire. battery fully charged and gas is full.

Hi,

Here is a tip that I wrote about the Paslode nailers and the problems that can come up with them.

I also have a link to the Paslode manuals which contain Paslode cleaning and troubleshooting guides.

If you need parts for your Paslode, there also is a link for a site that sells the Paslode nailer parts.

I changed the gas cylinder in my paslode framing nailer and now it won't fire the nails at all. The battery is fully charged and the whirring sound and smell of gas is evidenced but no nails are fired.

Make sure you have the correct gas cylinder. There are more than one type of cylinders for these nailers. If it is not correct it won't seat and gas will leak. Whiring sound is normal, fan mixing oxygen. Make sure "O" ring is in place under the gas cylinder.

Paslode nail guns won't shoot

piston is probably jammed

This happens sometimes try holding it up against a board with the trigger depressed and then inset the battery.

The goal is to try to force the firing sequence to get the piston back to the right position with corded units this is simply done by attaching the air hose with the trigger pulled this causes air to rush into the gun chamber pushing the piston back and firing a nail out.

The cause of this is a misfire or jammed nail that stopped the piston in the wrong location so air will not build in the chamber correctly.

Hope that helps

Paslode nail gun 325 black not firing

Any time these guns become intermittent or stop firing but the fan still runs, the first the to check is the expiration date on the gas cartridges. The do expire and this will make the gun work inconsistently or not at all.

My finish nail guns, 16 ga won't fire.

There is a little plastic piece inside above the trigger...usually this breaks. It touches a microswitch when the cylinder is closed all the way, allowing the nail to fire.
