You can replace this band with any other leather band that will fit the mm specifications of the watch.

If you are familiar and comfortable with eBay, you can order a band off of eBay. However, the only way to buy a watch band and be sure it is authentic Cartier is to buy it directly from Cartier or an authorized dealer.

I know this is an old question, but a definitive answer is that the questioner’s watch is fake because I have just discovered amongst a box of broken cheap watches I must once have picked up as a joblot, the same watch as described AND with the same serial number! Also, even before realising the above-mentioned howling coincidence, I had already suspected the 933 apparent silver fineness was a rather odd number - one that even as a collector of worldwide silver coins of many variable finenesses, I felt was completely unfamiliar and unlikely.

There is nowhere to get a Cartier dial from, other than Cartier.
Options:
1 - Pay the $400 for the genuine dial.
2 - Buy a 2nd hand watch off eBay to use for spare parts.
3 - Have your dial repainted.
Dial repaints can be a bit hit and miss with quality though. Talk to the watchmaker and ask who they use to do it. Should be 1/2 the price of a new dial.

mcdevito75 here, Ebay is your best bet for the Leather band for your Cartier watch, but! you:ll need to know the MM size of the band. Measure the width of the band just as it hooks onto your watch, use a ruler, most rulers have both the MM scale and American, if your ruler has only the American mmeasurement use the online Standard to MM calculator for the MM size from the American or standard measurement. Carefully measure the width of the band just as it hooks onto the watch, count the segments in the ruler either each MM or each 16 th of an inch, convert to MM then look on ebay for the strap.

Cartier is not the only company playing this game. Rolex invented the trade in game and now other high end Swiss brands are jumping on board.

Because you need or want the genuine band you have to put up with their game.

I will give you the generic answer as I have not actually removed a Cartier buckle. Most buckles use a small bar called a spring bar that goes through the band and "tang". The ends of the bar are like a plunger in that with a small fork like instrument or small screw driver you can collapse the bar and move it out of the clasp. The rest is very obvious. Replacement is the opposite of removal. A fairly simple procedure for most people.

The replacement bands for the Cartier 21 Chronoscaph are a complete rip off. Get a replica one!
