Frgidaire Pro Series glass cooktop error code

I had a power failure while the oven was on. When the power came back on everything seemed ok. Then today I started having trouble with the stovetop. It will work fine for a few seconds then I get an 8.8 PF then Er and it shuts down. I tried turning the breaker off then on and resetting the clock, but it still does it.

I poured over the manuals a few times and couldn't find anything about a reset. I might have to slide the whole unit out and see if there is a switch in the back.
    Thanks for the suggestion.

Look at your owners manual and see if there is a reset mode for oven. Had a friend just reset her oven she purchased last year. sounds like it might be the same thing.

Error 40 on kenmore convection oven

The 40 error code indicates a failure of the cooktop lockout board. The cooktop lockout board is not communicating with the main EOC electronic oven control. This could be a loose wiring harness or either the EOC board or cooktop lockout board is faulty. This type of diagnosis will require using a volt/ohm meter. If you decide to check the harness to the boards you will need to remove the back panel for access.

I have a Kenmore 66575014101 oven I get F3 fault code but I replaced the Temperature sensor and it still gives the F3 fault code

I found this on line don't know if it will help but it might send you in the right direction for testing to determine if it's worth repairing-- sorry
Shortly after a series of power failures I started receiving this error code. Looked up it online and did some extensive research. Everything pointed to a faulty sensor so I purchased a new sensor and installed it today. It didnt help, and testing my old sensor I determined it was also working. In the service manual it stated to do the following corrective action for the F3 - E0/E1/E2/E3 error codes:

Quote: 1. Measure sensor value (between connector pins) between 1000 ? @ 32° F and 2697 ? @ 900° F (room temperature approx. = 1080 ? ). If measurement does not correlate to real temperature, disconnect power, replace sensor and refer to steps 3-5. Also measure from sensor connector to sensor casing for possible short.

2. Trace wires and connectors to sensor, from control, then from sensor back to control. If all connections made and no wire damage, refer to step 3.

3. Disconnect power for longer than 30 seconds

4. Re-apply power and press BAKE and START/ENTER. Observe for longer than 1 minute.

5. If failure remains, disconnect power, replace control, then go back to step 4. I also tested the resistance of the sensors control panel wire harness connector and they are correct. Next step outlined in the service manual is to replace the control board. Sears has the control panel in stock for $177.47. This to me is not worth it over the cost of a whole new oven. Are there any fuses or anything else that could easily or cheaply be replaced before throwing out the oven. Thankyou very much in advance for your time!

Stopped working, flashing code F7 and beeping

Hello Michelle, thank you for your inquiry!

Typically error code F7 indicates that your Frigidaire range is experiencing a failure with either the potentiometer or UIB (User Interface Board). Let's try resetting you range by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. This usually clears most false error codes. It is best to wait approximately ten minutes and then turn on your appliance. If the error code persists, it would be advisable to contact an experienced appliance repair tech to assist further.

Best regards - Z

After a power failure, the clock face went out and there is no power to the duel ovens on a Maytag gemini electric oven. All four burners on the glass flat top work though.

try turning power off at electrical main switchboard for a minute, then back on. reset clock and see how it goes.
otherwise > call the repair man.

Es510

Hello KC - You may try and reset the cook top by disconnecting the power to the unit for up to 30 seconds by flipping the circuit breaker off and back on. This often clears most false error codes. If the lock symbol does not clear, then the unit more than likely may be experiencing an issue with the EOC (Electronic Oven Control), user interface board or a potential wiring failure. This is not a typicaly do it yourself job; please consult a professional or your manufacturer.

Amana self cleaning oven Model ACS7270AS, Seril 10924419AT F1 And F5 code come on control panel and continuous beep. All burners and other oven controls seem to come on ok. How do we clear the beeping...

Both F1 and F5 are the code for a board failure; it would need to be replaced. What you could try is disconnect the oven for a few minutes and then turn the power back on. If that does not do the trick you would need a board

An F10 error just appeared on my Kenmore Oven. What is that?

The F10 error code indicates a runaway temperature condition. If your oven is overheating, unplug the power cord for a few minutes. When plugged back in if the oven is still overheating, you will need to have the temp sensor & control checked.

Frgidaire Pro series gas range not lighting on one burner

there is probably some residue keeping it from sparking. look at 1 of the other burners and take mental note from where the spark is coming from. then spray just a little oven cleaner on and around the one not working. naturally take the metal grid off first.. let set for about 15 min. then wipe away the residue gently as not to damage the igniter electrode.. also there is a possibility the wire leading to the igniter fell off causing this problem.. do the explained first. good luck...
