This is a very common issue with self cleaning ovens. Make sure that the oven is cooled down and there are no errors on the screen. Clear everything by either unplugging or turning off the power at the circuit breaker.

Wait a few minutes and the problem usually clears when it is powered on again. If it does not, it is almost always a stuck lock or an electronic issue that was caused by the super high heat. Use the cleaning cycle sparingly and never before a special dinner. If the oven doesn't unlock or does not work properly, please take note of the error that is shown on the panel. Please leave error info when you leave comments. Thanks for visiting fixya.

I am trying to play a record on my Aiwa LX-120 turntable but after scanning the record the arm won`t go down.

I'm not certain that you are meant to disengage the FG lock since this means that the turntable has achieved the correct speed. The problem you have is that the arm won't go down.
I don't know to much about the workings of this direct drive turntable. But I can say you can get the service manual free on-line if that helps.
