SOURCE: Left hand oven not getting hot!!

If there is a low flame then the chances are the mercury flame protection device is broken. This is a safety device that protects the cooker from allowing full gas flow if the flame fails. However if the switch is broken then it won't allow full gas on to the burner. Hence a low level of burner which does not get very hot.

SOURCE: Fan oven door, cooker surround and hob become burining hot when using fan oven

I have the same, but my fan is running slow too, and the oven completely turns itself off and then on in around 10 mins ?

Someone told me it was the Oven Fan Control PCB, but I have not replaced this yet. We will see soon. Good luck

SOURCE: Rangemaster 110

i have had the same problem with rangemaster 110, r/h solinoid,i purchased a replacement from an authorized dealer, same fault within 6 months, i had to purchase a replacement so they could check the first replacement was faulty before they refund my money. now the second one has failed. so we have decided to use it until the l/h oven gives up (hopefully sooner than later) then we will be buying another double oven, but it will not be rangemaster.

When I light my oven, it stays on full all the time. Is it the thermostate

I'd recommend buying an oven temp dial to stick in your oven to verify the actual temp. Then you can turn on the oven using a lower setting and write down the temp for the setting. Then as you slowly adjust the setting higher and higher, note each temp. If it doesn't show a consistent increase of temp for each setting, you may need it calibrated or replaced. Good luck!

My stove lights very slow with a low flame. Should the igniter stay on after it lights oven

Yes the ignitor stays on even after the burner is lit. The ignitor is wired in series with the oven valve. It sounds like the oven valve isn't opening all the way. A new ignitor should solve this problem. The old igniter builds up resistance and doesn't let the correct voltage through to the oven valve for it to open properly.

Burner heats to high even when set on low

Are you talking about the cook-top part of this unit or the interior of the oven? If it's the top part, your infinite switch is out. If it's the interior, it's one of the elememts. If you will give us a call as soon as you get a chance, we'll make sure and get the correct part out to you right away to get this repaired. We look forward to working with you and getting your oven fixed BEFORE Thanksgiving. 972-859-0929

I have a Magic Chef Chateau Gas range. The upper oven does not heat properly. It comes on, but never gets up to operating temps.

you could have a bad ignitor check that it is actually igniting the gas and you can see flame, also check the cavity sensor a probe that sticks into the oven at the top usually on the left top corner but if the bake cycle works with good results them it is ok
check for flame when it starts give it a mibute to ignite, if it does not then you need to replace the broil ignitor.
