You should have have let it sit till the compressor equalize if it was running,you may have ruined the ptc overload relay that protects the compressor,try unplugging it and leave it off for an hour,then retry it,if this doesn't help then replace the ptc overload on the compressor body,they just unplug off the compressor

you. If the temperature of food rises to an unsafe level, the buzzer will sound
and the red light, if equipped, will also glow. First, deactivate the alarm to
the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker. Wait
approximately ten minutes and then turn on the unit. After deactivating the
alarm and the unit has run approximately four hours, the red light/alarm should
go off on its own. If the red light/alarm continues to stay on, the freezer may
possibly have a communication problem with the control board, temperature
control or a wiring harness. If this is the case, I would recommend connecting
with an experienced technician to determine the underlying cause.
if you turn the freezer off for some time then on again the red light has to come on as an indicator for high temperature it goes off by itself when the freezer attains the required temperature according to the thermostat settings ,that is the lower the settings the faster the red light goes off. the orange light indicates super cooling and the green light indicates power supply.if you turn the two lights off and the freezer still works without the green light on that means that the bulb for the green light is faulty and you don,t need to worry
that is because when you want a colder unit the sensor is detecting a warmer interior hence red warning light comes on.leave it at the setting you want and within 24 hours the red light will go off.
