Picture keeps rolling

How do you get the picture from rolling it has great picture and sound but we moved the tv to the living room and the picture started rolling is there a vertical or horizontal hold button and if so how do I access the buttons?

thanks for all the help I called Sony e-support and they told me the nearest authorized repair personell in my area for repairs I was curious so It worked fine before we moved it to the living room it was made in 1995 so over the years it built up some dust inside so I took the back cover off and used a hair dryer to blow some dust off then used a small fox tail brush and then I took the shop vac and put the hose on the blower end and after blowing it all out dirt from everywhere I plugged it in and it was PERFECT it stopped ROLLING and I saved a trip too the repair man so sometimes just a good cleaning will do the trick a lot of dust was blown out and it works as good as NEW Me and MOM are very happy Thanks everyone Chris

"Rolled TV, now off...."
Hello T
Depending on how much vibration the room-to-room transport created, something such as a connector, fuse, plug-in board could have fallen out.
As you mention no green light now coming on, I suspect either a loose fuse / broken fuse wire or power connector.
TV's can hold dangerous voltages even when unplugged.
Ask your friendly TV-technician to have a look.
Hope this helps,
Clive.

Comcast remote does not work after dark, works just find in day

I have had the same problem I have two bell receivers one in the bedroom and one in the living room, in low light the remote in the living room would work much like yours, but if I took the same remote into the bedroom it worked fine in low light, the second remote responded exactly the same, the problem in my situation was the TV had a light sensor that adjusts the picture depending on the light in the room, with this option turned off. The remote works just fine in low light situation.

Thomson dsi 4200 satellite receiver

The only way this would work ( and this applies to any form of cable/satellite box) so the only way this works is if the TV that has the satellite connected to it has a video output normally indicated with the color yellow, but you still need sound that normally is the red and white (RCA cables). So the first tv needs to have video and sound outputs and the TV you want it connected to needs to have the video and sound inputs. depending on the distance between the 2 TV's this might prove to be rather difficult. it would be easier to run the coax cable from the main satellite box to the room where you have the 2nd TV however to do this you would need to move the satellite box back and forth. Hope this helps
